Class Description
Join me this spring for a 4 week series, designed to support the transition to a new, budding season.
This series combines gentle somatic movement that guides you through early developmental movement patterns, with reminders of our connection to the natural world. Each class is gentle, slow, and mostly low to the ground with a primary emphasis on ways to find support no matter where you are in the practice.
Class Details
Who: this class is adaptable to most folks who can get up and down from the ground or a chair. During class there will be multiple options and adaptation for movements. If you are tending to an area of your body, please let me know before class so I can offer support that meets your specific needs.
If you are unsure if this series meets your needs, please schedule a complimentary 30 minute call.
Wear: clothing that allows easy movement with little restriction.
Bring: your preferred mat for support. If you do not have a mat, extras are provided.
Class Size: Limited to 9
Cost: At Empowered Spaces, we value community care. Given the systemic injustice in this world which affects each of us differently, this equity pricing scale acknowledges that our ability to pay for services, and access those services, varies. We offer a self-determined sliding scale based on the ways that your identity grants you access to privilege and to social capital, e.g. race, gender & sexual identity, socio-economic status, educational background, able-bodied-ness, etc.
Sustainer Rate - "I can pay my way" - $108
Supporter Rate - "I can help support my community" - $162
Community Rate - "I can use support from my community" - $54
*Full and Partial Scholarships available
